'Well Done Good and Faithful Servant'.

Very sadly our dear friend Margaret passed away on 15th October, just three days after attending our Patronal Festival.

The funeral service and committal took place at St. Wilfrid's Church on Friday 28th October and was taken by Fr. Andrew with a most moving reading of part of Victor Hugo's 'Toilers of the sea' by Mollie Clarke.

As her attendance at our Patronal Festival (and many thanks to Peter Jessop for recording for us her very last photo) exemplifies, throughout her life Margaret was a devoted to serving her church - attending Sunday 8:00o clock communion come rain or shine and spending many years on the PCC as Freewill Offering Treasurer, some at times when her father Alfred Tout was churchwarden. Fr Andrew in his homily summed up Margaret perfectly - 'Well Done Good and Faithful Servant'.
