PrayerSt. Wilfrid's Church: a praying and sharing church In the Bible, Jesus commands us to love one another; to love our neighbour; to love our enemies; and to pray to God our father. At St Wilfrid’s, we pray for each other and for the community and the world around us - in our services, in PCC meetings and at other events as well as at home or during the working day. During our servicesWe pray for the world, the church and ourselves - including our leaders and those we know to be in need; stories in the news and those affected by them; and for the work and worship of the church in serving God and others. Prayer for those in need We pray for people slowly recovering from, or knowing they have to live with, a painful condition who would be grateful for our prayers. They are usually housebound. If you know of people suitable for this list, please contact our Parish Administrator Hilary Irwin on 01243 841275 or email The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) If you would like to make a Confession, you can contact
Fr Andrew (01243 821965) who would be happy to listen to this by appointment.
